Biography
- Studied Digital Graphic Production at LCI Bogotá, graduated at 19 as valedictorian.
- Worked for companies such as Zemoga, Walmart, Verizon, Univision, Parrolabs, Ikone International, and Wunderman Thompson, collaborating with professionals from countries such as Colombia, Venezuela, Argentina, the Netherlands, the United States, India, and the Philippines.
- I took my English to C2, joining Toastmasters International Bogotá (toastmasters.org) for 2 years, attending language exchanges, and taking foreigners to Bogotá tourist spots using CouchSurfing (couchsurfing.com).
- Four mentors were instrumental to my success: Jay Zambrano with Front-End;
David López with User Experience; René Rojas with entrepreneurship; and James Harling with verbal and written communication. - GlamGuru is my second startup.
- Fun fact: my ancestry is 54% Indigenous American (Colombia & Venezuela), 20% Spanish, 8% Basque, 7% Portuguese, 3% English & Northwest European, 2% North African, 2% Scottish, 1% Maltese, 1% European Jewish, and 1% Irish.
