Myopainseminars.com 2.0

Myopain Seminars is a leader in educational courses on dry-needling, fascial manipulation, manual therapy, among others. It was founded by Dr. Jan Dommerholt who introduced Dry Needling to the USA in 1997.

I led the design of version 2.0 of the website. In the design process we involved tools that allowed us to diagnose the strengths and weaknesses of the current website. We did usability tests and interviews with the students of the courses. We were able to see if they could complete the tasks with ease, the obstacles they went through, and what they considered when deciding whether to take a course or not.

With the findings of this phase we defined the information architecture. A content inventory was created that allowed us to rethink the sitemap. We moved on to creating wireframes and testing with students who helped us iterate and come up with the ideal solution. Finally we collaborated with the developers to build the website.
